Yes, you heard it right.

It would appear that this couple have been split up because they are a straight married couple, whereas in fact, they have been barred from sharing a room in the Olympic village because there are designated female accommodation and designated male.

However, it would appear that there are 'dozens' of gay athletes for whom this doesn't apply, because...well, because they are the same sex.

Interesting point - according to the chap, there are 'tons of gay couples on the Australian Olympic team'

Who'd have thought eh?

Is this really an attack on heterosexuals? Or has this story been spun out of the need to provide more fuel for the 'PC fire'?

The reason left it to you was because I knew that you would grab this story and twist it to get your own agenda attached to it.

You just wanted for heterosexuals or homophobics as you sometimes call us, to jump on the story and cry for equal rights, but it didn't quite come to fruition.

This was just a non-story which could be down to his stance on sleeping pills, her posing for a magazine, no double accommodation available, etc, etc. numerous different reasons, we can see that.

But if the story had been about a gay couple not being allowed to sleep together, there would have been an almighty outcry, with most likely Peter Thatchell and the whole of gay rights getting involved.

Actually, I think that's what the Daily Mail wanted.

But the gist of the story is that this couple feel discriminated against because they are straight.

Do you think that's the case?

In what way do you think I have twisted the facts of the story?

Do you think that perhaps the reason this story hasn't generated 'an almighty outcry' is because people have understood that the Olympic Village have separate male and female accommodation, and that this isn't an 'heterophobic

Looking at the facts of the story, what's your take?
