Our boys are in the front of the peleton but they're about 50 seconds behind the leading group of 30 riders.
It is being talked about here.

Why do they assume everyone understands all the rules and references, what is a Peleton? Ok I can google it but if I am watching something on tv I wish they would give some sort of explanation. Its not as though its everyday sport - same with the tennis at Wimbledon most of us don't play tennis so when they use technical terms they could at least explain what is going on.
The peleton is the name of a main group or racing cyclists!
Question Author
So if the peleton is the main group who are the group that are 50 seconds ahead?
No, the group that is behind.
Sorry, the group in front are called 'the break away'.
Question Author
4 seconds? 50 seconds? I really don't understand any of this!
Clear now lankeela? pmsl.
The only important thing to know is that we are not in with a chance! :-(

Thats that then, don't think I will bother watching cycling again. Can't say I didn't try.

Why did they keep going to the back - surely you pedal as fast as you can and try to win?
That's why I don't cycle and prefer to drive.
Just too complicated.
F1 is easy to follow.
