The stories about his life and death are numerous. The only real facts surrounding the end of his life are that he lived in a very tiny cottage called Clouds Hill, died on his Brough Superior motorbike on the road to Bovington Camp, and lies in a very plain grave in Moreton cemetery.

Of course Kilkenny is correct, (spot of my forbears!!) it was TE who, riding too fast caused his own death, careering off the road. Was he assassinated..;I wouldn't be the least surprised after "Seven Pillars of Wisdom", some people get very serious about the use of intellect!!
Cheers
The identity's of the two young boys who were riding bicycles in the road when Lawrence, doing an estimated 90 mph on his Brough Superior SS100 Motorcycle are lost to history. He swerved to avoid the kids and was thrown, dying some 6 days later from head injuries. In death Lawrence continued to influence. The doctor who treated him went on and developed the first motor cycle helmet in Britain.
