Its 5 o'clock and still 30 degrees here - no sign of it cooling down.

We went out for breakfast this morning on the seafront but came away when it got really hot and busy. I've managed to do the washing but otherwise, i've alternated between the sofa and the seat under the tree. Bliss.

How's your day?

Absolute heaven now maidup.

Too hot for me.
You're in the S East aren't you maidup? It's cloudy, was foggy and drizzling and currently 18 deg in Dorset.
It's been cloudy and a bit breezy here all day, until about 2 hours ago, now it is sunny with a chilly breeze.
not been very hot here, but very muggy!!
Boling hot here too maidup, on our way to southend in an hour for an engagement party. Dread getting into the boiling hot car for the journey x
Lucky you, been dull here all day but the sun is just beginning to break through.
Afternoon,

I've done 4 loads of washing today and all of it has dried within about an hour. Spent the day doing housework and now I'm hot and knackered. Apparently it's going to be even hotter tomorrow so my brother has bought some tickets for Port Lympne.
Still very hot here just north of London, sun is still blaring and I reckon I'd still get burnt if I sat in it.
Hope you all have a brilliant sunny w/end. (wish it was cooler now) x
Remember that bliss stuff. As my better half is ill in bed, just traipsing up and down stairs thinking of the cliffs and beach bay 5 mins away.

Yes we're in the East and it is almost too hot for comfort, but I don't want to complain. I just feel happy that I don't have to do anything today and can please myself.

Aww poor OH, maybe you could take half an hour out for a stroll Seadogg?
We've probably got a rainy bank holiday to look forward to!

Now, now Cupid, nuff of that!
Took an elderly neighbour to the coast (Frinton) because we promised we would. Stuck in traffic in 28 degree heat, journey took 1 1/2 hours compared to usual 30 minutes. Had fish and chips then neighbour had enough so came home.
Now chilling out.
What is sunshine? I think you all tell porkies for in my part of Scotland it is grey and overcast and not at all warm.

Moggie number one (female) got up, ran around the room and went back to bed - she is still there.

Moggie number two (male) has been up and eaten, flooded the litter tray and managed to pee over the edge and onto the floor and spent the rest of the day wrapped up in the king sized duvet on the sofa.

I don't think that it is raining - yet!
I think you earned the right to chill out Parkdale.
Its absolutely boiling here too, 30/31 degrees. its forecast to be even hotter tomorrow.
Too hot for me im afraid., sorry.
Thanks for the kindness Maidup.
