For two weeks after I was skipping about like a little spring lamb and felt fantastic, but then the pain gradually came back. Looking back, I know I overdid it, and thought I could go straight back to my old ways of dancing, going to the gym and going swimming.
I think the thing to do is to make sure you take gentle exercise every day immediately afterwards. Hopefully they are giving you some physio exercises to do.
The procedure itself was painless but felt a bit weird, as I was aware of the needle going into the joint and could almost hear it, if that makes sense, but it was totally without pain. They then had me lie down for half an hour and monitored my heart rate, then gave me tea and biccies and told Mr Frog he could take me home.
I hope it works for you. It's certainly worth trying. Please let us know how you get on.

Have had it done and it lasted over six months, pain returned but nowhere as bad as before, have learnt to live with it, from reading up it seems that each person is different and it really is a case of have it done and see how it goes. The procedure itself is fine , I did not feel any pain at all. Good luck.
