old threepenny bits

Hello All; not sure where to ask this; I have about 50-odd of the old 12-sided threepenny pieces, showing George VI or Elizabeth, and I understand they have no intrinsic value, or interest to collectors, so I wonder if they could be made into some sort of decorative piece or whatever. Has anyone seen these sort of coins used in that way? Anyone got any ideas? Just thought I'd ask. Thanks.

You could perhaps solder some of them together to make a trivet or tea-pot stand.

Thanks M, my missis had a similar idea, but sticking them onto a backboard rather than soldering. They used to represent 13 shillings and ninepence, i could have done something with that back in the day, few pints and the pictures!
