Morning Sqad another question for you if you dont mind. My sister had her first session of chemo nearly two weeks ago and yesterday she was complaining of really bad back pain,she hasnt done anything that she can think of to cause it, could this be anything to do with the treatment ? TIA

jasmin.....one should never say "never" in medicine because one day it will come and smack you in the face, BUT I have never known backache to be caused by chemotherapy.

She should take pain killers for the problem and monitor the situation.

I am fine my love...thanks for asking.
I know many of the treatments are different now jasmin but I had back pain with chemo - it was for hodgkin's many yrs ago. It would be a good idea for your sister to tell her nurse/doctor about though as one time when my back was particularly bad it turned out I had an infection. Wishing her all the best.
