Meaning of dreams

I have had toddlers in my dreams recently. They're never mine, but I take care of them and they're mostly naked. It's only one at a time. Does anyone know what it means?

I'm sure there are people on here who might know better but I believe that children in dreams can actually represent yourself. I had a dream about a whole chain of events, which I worked out, but a bit about a little girl totally baffled me, until I realised she was me!
Do you feel that you needed more care & protection as a child maybe?
