I have just had a new fire fitted, and ever since my boiler keeps cutting out when it gets to 80 degrees celsius.

I've had the engineer out and he thinks it could be the pump.

This has only happened since they've fiited the fire, could the people who have fitted it affected my boiler or could they be right about the pump.

If its not the pump, what else could it be.

Thanks

The boiler should cut out at 80 but if you mean it won't keep going and you've no hot water and/or heating then assuming the system is filled then this does sound like a circulation problem.

The wiring from the boiler may include the pump supply that could have been disturbed. Check that there is power to the pump (live and neutral) before changing it.
