It is lashing down with rain and I can't be bothered doing much other than faffing around on here and watching some TV.

I've just looked through the TV schedule and can't find anything that takes my fancy apart from Monsters Inc which isn't on until later. I'm now going to scan the other channels to see if I can find a spot of Agatha Christie or a Bond movie.

Now the strange thing is I have Monsters Inc on DVD as well as most Bond movies and a box set of Poirot but for some strange reason I prefer to watch scheduled TV. Perhaps I like watching adverts???

hello eccles.

do you have the gold and dave channels?

cannot beat the old comedies (only fools .. the good life .. red dwarf etc)
I see the new series of Red Dwarf is exclusive to 'Dave'

For some reason I tend to gloss over the Comedy channel and Dave, no idea why as I quite enjoy some of the programmes.

New series of Red Dwarf, as in completely new? Do you know when it starts?
Willy Wonker is on C5. The old version.
4 October Eccles.
indeed it is.
i, and a few others on here are counting the days.
are you a dwarfer, Snafu?
Because of the rain (I presume) our Sky hasn't worked all day and there's a strange eerie silence about the house. I'm going to seek out all the DVDs I've been given as presents but hardly ever watched!

I've settled on Willy Wonka, even if I do know the script off by heart!

I'll have to try and remember the start of RD, love it.
Here a little nostalgia - the first Red Dwarf
