Oirish

Every week whilst watching something interesting on TV my partner turns over and i have to endure the X Factor! OK, i can deal with that (just), but what i am getting tired of is Louis Walsh going-on about being 'Oirish.' Why does he feel the need to rave on and on about the fact that they're irish or have an irish name?

As for why Louis keeps going on about the "Oirish" aspect, I guess it is because X Factor is also aired in Ireland live as it is here and Louise (oops) is probably pushing for the telephone votes from Ireland. Simon, Sharon and Louis all benefit financially from the phone lines so the more calls they get, the more monet in their pockets.
