MM Links Results September 2012 Week 5

Thanks to 'King Fordward' we are going out on a high this month with a bonanza of points.

I can now reveal that his chosen links were:

Not all obvious choices but he generously went with what proved to be the most popular guess of the weekend.

All links were found within the first three minutes of play. Details below.

First in was Roslyn 251254 who avoided a duck for the month and claimed 2 points for TURKISH DELIGHT - as did patchett, tearinghair, ulysses100, Brenden, seekeerz, rockfordill, Christiana, lysander & beejay1124.
16 more were too late for bonuses and so collected a single point on the same match.

Second player, Patchett, had a taste for FRENCH BEAN(s) to collect two points. Surprisingly, this only found one other taker during the whole game (Eiggam).

INDIAN SUMMER was next to fall in the second minute of play chosen by Brenden and joined almost immediately by beejay1124 for 2 points each.

Last to be discovered was when beejay1124 and Strix both conversed in DOUBLE DUTCH (more 2 points)

The astute amongst you will have noticed that one name has already appeared three times - that of beejay1124 with this week's top score of 6 points.

All that remains is to decide on a setter for October. Who will it be?

All the top three scorers have already set the links earlier this year as well as in previously years.
Of the three players on 8 points, Strix has already set them 3 times but the other two have each only set them once and are equally deserving of the honour.
Handbaglady is currently in hospital so I think any extra stress will not be appreciated at this time.

Therefore I am pleased to offer the position of setter to Tearinghair aka 'Lady Jill'. When the shock wears off, I hope you will find it possible to accept. Help as usual is always available.

Thanks King fordward and Gen2. For once my second thought was right - I so nearly went for Turkish bath, but changed it at the last minute. Still lots of points behind the month's top three, but I'll do my best to make up for it with some challenging links in October.
