not sure what is going on but cannot get any youtube link to open, work.
Have tried posting links just now on here, in the youtube spot, it doesn't do it, instead goes below the message, if that makes any sense. Is it some sort of blocker?

i love youtube and posting links, it's why i am surprised can no longer do it.

i have tried lots, installed firefox again, looked at computer, given up for the moment, am hoping for some help with this at the weekend. I am not great at tech stuff so will wait patiently or not for the expert.

If ur still in trouble, delete cookies & cache from Ffox. Switch off modem & Reboot pc after few mins. Connect modem, Download Ffox. Ur fav can be pulled thru from IE.

still cannot view youtube, black screen only, looking in computer add ons
could this be the reason, have tried any number of options.

i have unblocked something, don't ask what but it now seems to work, no idea what is going on with this lately, have also lost sound on e mail, usually get a voice message "you have e mail", now that is gone, aggghhh

Oh Em I do feel for you! I was on here last week as my pc had gone bonkers as well. I had some add-on called Conduit which just appeared after OH updated sat nav. I'm no techie either, and it's SO difficult even to explain what's wrong. There are some brilliantly helpful folk on here to who i am eternally grateful. I think we should campaign for a separate Technology category for complete technology-numpties.

i can follow some instruction but it's very difficult to explain in detail what is going on. Rather see someone face to face then can ask how to get things fixed. Well youtube works, now for the rest.

Em10, Go to Tools > Addons > check your plugins :

QuickTime Plug-in up to date & enabled
Shockwave Flash enabled

Horseshoes, disable Conduit & reboot.
