aternoon tea.

would any of you care to join me for afternoon tea. the sky is blue and the sun is shining. i've set the table in the conservatory with lots of cakes and buns, tea and coffee. have a wander around the garden in the sun if you want to. (you can see the sea from the top of the rise).

really i just fancy having some company. selfish i know.

if you get fe up with the tea party you can have a go in my workshop - i certainly can't at the moment.

forgot to say you must leave it clean and tidy. all tools washed and dried and all bats scraped clean.
chocolate covered dates, NoM? not sure about that - Medjool dates, yes, stuffed yes, but chocolate....?

don't worry about the bats tilly.
just duck, tilly, they are Cornish bats, they probably think they are swanning around. £5000 fine if you take one out (having bats in a beech tree stump here).

we had them in the loft of our last house. terrible problems.
Why do you have to scrape them clean? My pipistrelles here are not muddy.

Oh, do you mean cricket bats? Are we playing cricket?
there's an order on here too but there doesnt seem to be any in the attic at the moment....this Scottish Breakfast tea is delish.

Please may I have some crust-less, triangular watercress sandwiches? Also, some thinly sliced cucumbers floating in balsamic vinegar would be quite jolly.
Sibbo is hiding from Tilly she caught me out and I've got jam on my face
cream before the jam and we can temporarily call you a Cornish tea and lick it off.

Just stumbled on M&S site - wooo they do lovely party stuff - beautiful buns on a cakestand and various foods - next time I have a party I am going to order this.
