I have forgotten the pass word on my older laptop.The hint was 49 but I just cant remember it.The screen says i need to put in a flash drive or something but I dont have anything.HELP

ITs a Medion laptop.On Vista.I had a hard drive replaced some time ago and put the password in myself.I just can't remember why i put in something with 49 in it.

I HAVE THE ORIGINAL CDS>Does it mean I will have to use the recovery cd and reload every thing again,loosing all my previous stuff.Not much on it as I bought a new laptop before I had the hard drive replaced.THANKS
