Just in from Inland Revenue there but I had not an appointment made so did so for next week. I have not worked in 10 years so any reason they would be calling me in also never filled tax form in my life. Any help would be appreciated.

They wanted my interest in current account for year 2010-2011

What I earned which Incapacity Benefit for 2010-2011.

I can't work out everything you are trying to say but they have a right to know what interest you earn and what your benefits and any other earnings are. It's unlikely any tax will be due so just cooperate
By the way if they ring and say they are Inland Revenue then it's a scam- they have been HMRC for years

sorry factor inland/revenue/hrmc all the same to me - oh I will co-operate have to go for meeting next Tuesday week -
They still also refer to themselves as Inland Revenue factor30. Indeed I have a letter from the National Insurance office in front of me right now that has "Inland Revenue" as the letterhead, "Inland Revenue" in the address and "Inland Revenue" referred to in the narrative of the letter. And it isn't a scam.
Thanks- I only ever see HM Revenue and Customs- I haven't seen them call themselves inland Revenue for years on forms. Are we talking about teh UK here or Ireland
We're talking about the National Insurance Contributions Office in Newcastle. Or at least I am. Not sure what Connemmara is talking about.
