IDT Audion Settings
3 Answers
I’ve recently had a new computer which has ‘IDT Audio Settings’ accessible from the lower right tray. I also have Windows Media Player which I’ve used for a long time, providing background MIDI sound on a few modest web pages; http://www.skeef.freeserve.co.uk/lindenlea/
Is it necessary to have both and are they compatible? I’d like to get rid of IDT but how? Grateful for advice.

You probably could get rid of them, but you'd have to make sure you didn't uninstall the drivers for the sound card at the same time (which would probably happen!) as that would leave you with no sound at all. easier to just leave as it is.
