Astonished no-one has mentioned clootie dumplings yet.Delicious with custard when fresh and even better on new years day with bacon and eggs fried up for breakfast.Yummy!
I like to serve (and eat) my xmas pudding warm with a suce made up of 2/3rds doulble cream and 1/3rd Advocart simply poured over the top, I call it grown ups custard much better than birds lol
