try when it cuts out removing the fuel cap it might be pressurizing the tank, or clean the fuel filter, chances are its dirty,

Already tried that cheers sumpy
Could well be the fuel pickup in the tank partially blocked or a loose fitting allowing air to be drawn in or a blocked filter or a faulty pump or carb/fuel injection problem.

Thanks stanleyman. Im going to try a new pump got one on order il let you know
Try the coil. When a coil is faulty it will usually run fine until it becomes hot and then it will begin to break down, your spark will become intermittent and the car will splutter and lose power, not through lack of fuel, but through lack of spark to the plugs.
