Maybe I'm wrong but the money raised that goes foreign is mainly creamed off to line the pockets of dictators.

People start to judge on what people "should or should not" join in with and there is a kind of social pressure to do the pyjamas at work, phone in and pledge, put a red nose on the car and so on. TBH what people give to charity is nobody else's business.....
