spacing in word 2010

for some unknown reson my spacing has gone from "No Spacing" to "Normal" I prefer No spacing but cannot get a new doc to open up with it as default. whats the trick please.

Click start and enter the below into the run/search box

%appdata%\Microsoft\Templates

Delete the file called normal and load word again, all settings will be restored back to default.
