Morning,

http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/767882

from the above:

"When I open certain sites in Firefox (e.g. www.halifax-online.co.uk) i immediately get a popup from http://www.consumersurveygroup.org asking me to fill in a survey. This survey appears to link to the site I am accessing The unusual thing is that, although I do not use Internet Explorer the invitation always opens in Internet Explorer."

Does this sounds familiar?
Question Author
no, that's not it, it opens in firefox as a new tab. See the link in my OP.
Please:

1. run a malwarebytes scan.
2. Check your installed programs for something called "Click Potato"
Question Author
sorry where do I get "Malwarebytes"?
I can find no trace of Click potato in "installed programs"
Thanks for checking.

You can get malwarebytes here: http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free/
Question Author

Question Author

Question Author
it found "PUP.Bundle.installer.OI" - removed
Hmm, not sure if that is the problem or not, but it's certainly worth having done!
