Cold Start

Jeeeeez it felt cold at 6.30am this morning. The windscreen needed a light scrapping and the roads felt a touch slippy in parts! Just what I needed on a Saturday morning. Only working until 2pm so not all bad. Home for a hot bath and a good meal!!!
Anyone else been scrapping and slipping today?

I haven't ventured out of bed yet, save to make a cup of coffee. It's foggy here but the sun's trying to break thru.

No ice here thankfully, just north of London. We're supposed to be awash with rain by 6 o clock though, not great for a night out.

Haven't looked as far as my back garden yet but there's a man cutting down a tree next door (annoying beggar) so it can't be too bad. We seem to get off pretty lightly round here (Aylesbury) with the weather. It has to have one p,us side I suppose.

Frosty start in Bolton but soon cleared, cold but nice, that guy needs to be careful chopping down trees eb it cost someone 75K on the news yesterday

There are certain trees that cannot be cut down.

the tree belonged to next door he had it done when they were out to improve his view, it was on News at Ten, it also put 50K on the value of his house because of better view, that is all i know not seen any other link yet

Lol. He can't be doing it for the view, I live on one of the modern housing estates, he'll just get an eyeful of red brick. Lol.

I shouldn't have said the weathers been alright, it's just started bucketing it down. Hasn't put him off though.
