Can anyone help me please; I have a 3 tier glass table where the top shelf keeps coming apart from the metal corner posts, I have tried Double Sided Sticky Tape a few times but it still comes apart after a few weeks of moving the table.

Can anyone suggest the best product that will last a bit longer, or even permanently?

Thanks very much in anticipation.

Bob, I guess the shelf sits on top of the posts?
If so, something "invisible" would be needed as you could see it through the glass. I'd suggest a blob of clear silicone sealant on each post, then bed the glass on that.
Give it a good while to go off. Leave overnight to be sure.

Suction pads.

The Builder

I thought i was brainy but i never even gave that a thought, and if it works as good as it did on a couple of wall tiles that i had to remove
(a bit of a bu**ar) then gone are the days of using sticky tape.

Thank you very much

Thanks paddywak

You have to mix Araldite it's like a paste and its not clear

But thanks for your answer
Go with the builder, Silicone rubber sticks to glass better than almost anything else, make sure you degrease the surfaces first with acetone. Don't use nail varnish remover as it sometimes contains a small amount of oil to prevent cracking skin.
