Anyone explain what this means regarding the spec on a new Nikon camera ?
Range (approx.) (ISO sensitivity: Auto)
[W]: 0.5 to 8.0 m (1 ft 8 in. to 26 ft) [T]: 1.5 to 4.5 m (5 ft to 14 ft)

Fitzer is right: this should be labelled 'Effective flash range'.
