My icons keep moving

I place my desktop icons where I want them but when I shut down they revert to where the computer wants them to be

Shame you forgot to mention your operating system.
If it's XP, right-click a clear area of the desktop
Choose arrange icons by
uncheck auto arrange

My Icons Keep Moving

I have had that problem , Zingo but my icons decided it was probably better to get a restraining order on me rather than keep moving.

I've never had that problem of them moving I'm also on XP just had a snoop and are set on align to grid.
