what would you miss most if you had to take a drastic pay cut

due to being on maternity leave, i have a lot less money than i used to (rightly so - after all i'm not exactly being a productive team member atm) Anyway, i'm getting about 1/4 of what i would normally expect my net wages to be, so am obv having to cut down a lot.
was just thinking today that i haven't have any garlic olives recently and then realised they are expensive (hadn't really thought about it before as we've been in the lucky position of having more left over at the end of the month)
I miss
olives
serrano ham
lottery tickets
newspaper
take aways

but still buy beer and pay my cleaner! What would be you last luxury to go?

Wine. I'm not particularly extravagant with it and mostly tend to buy a bottle on a Friday (more if we're having company or if I'm going to someones house), and I really look forward to that first glass of wine on a Friday evening, it signifies the weekend and time to relax to me.

Cleaner? Gardener? Too well off for me. I do all my own, although I must admit to cutting it down to the minimum. When the credit crunch hit me I stopped doing the lottery (£6 a week) but still do £2 on the Health Lottery.

I'm with you for the olives, the newspapers and take aways. Also my gardener (unless I can trade with him) lol. My fresh fish delivery man (no trading with him). Possibly a meal out, health lotto and Eurolotto, and if the worst came to the worst - broadband.

Just thought, I also buy books monthly from amazon, I usually spend up to £15 and can generally get between 5 - 7 books for that. I would be very sad if I couldn't do my monthly amazon shop.
