I have just had another call inviting me to join 'friends' fro Christmas.

I will be on my own on Christmas Day, I don't care. I don't want to eat turkey and endure someone else's drunken Aunt Ethel.

I really wish everyone else would respect my decision and F off. I appreciate that there are people who will be alone and it isn't their choice. I want to be on my own to do what I want, when I want......and if one more person tells me I'm just covering my loneliness I will not be alone for Christmas.....I will be in a cell at the local cop shop!

Oh eccles, I feel for you. I know just how you you feel - it's honestly not a problem spending Christmas Day on your own, why do people feel so damned guilty if they haven't dragged you along to join an unwilling crowd?
