You probably need a belt and some fluid somewhere if it has electric power steering it cud be just a fuse. What is all that gobildiguk

If it needs oil that is because it has leaked out somewhere, have you noticed oil on the ground under the car when it is parked ? The power steering oil tank is usually a small tank with pipes going to it, size is about 1->2 ltrs with a removable cap fitted on the bulhead somewhere. it also often has a label saying ''do not open when hot''. The problem is that if it has run out of oil but you are still using the car then the pump may have been damaged by lack of lubrication.

It is easy to check the belts, just look at the front of the engine where the drive belts are and make sure that all the pulleys actually have belts fitted to them.

Sounds like you really should see a professional for this.
