Around 1981 I heard a pop song 'Torpedo torpedo happy holiday..... look out kids it's bombs away' with a tune a bit like Frosty the snowman. I think it's impossible to lose a tune but no one so far has ever heard of it. Help!
I think I was the only person to buy it and I don't believe it entered the Top 40. It was by Havana, Let's Go and called, if i remember rightly, Torpedo. I sold my copy to a stall in Camden Market - its probably still there if you want to go hunting for it.
Thanks a lot, I've been looking for years. I've never heard of them but they had one result only pop up on a search, with Spanish Cabaret when I looked just now, so they're obviously pretty obscure. Now I'll try and find a copy. Thanks a lot.
