Wi-fi wonderings
2 Answers
This is also on the Internet and Technology page but I thought that somebody may be able to answer my question here. If anybody could help then that would be great!
I have recently been using hotspots a lot because of my new laptop. I was just wondering about how when I connect to a wifi connection, I am automatically re-directed to their page in all of my browsers and am denied access to other pages. So how do they do this? Thanks.

The only time I ever saw something like that happen was in the hotel room. When we turned on the internet, just the internet itself was able to redirect our web pages. It was the most amazing thing I ever saw.
