Hi, I didn't word it very well but I'm trying to find the name of a kids TV programme from the 1960's.

All I can remember about it was it had 2 children in and they looked for clues to find things. I have a feeling Peter Sallis might have been in it, just thought if there was a list of childrens tv progs. I might be able to work out just what it was :-(

A bit like

i thinki understand grumpy, by the way can anyone remember something about two young boys? it might be called flockton hall or manor, the boys were brothers maybe adopted and came from rich family. what exacly was the storyline was it a good programme my memory is a bit hazy on this one.

Hi Cliff

I think the one I am trying to find had a girl and boy in, but the rest of it sounds very similar.

It was a bit spooky and involved secret passages and clues in paintings.

Don't suppose I'll ever find out what it was :-(

Cliffsdoll, that sounds like The Flaxton Boys; about all I can remember of it is that it was set in a country house in Yorkshire about the turn of the 20th century, and it used Prokofiev's Classical Symphony as the theme music........

Is this the sort of site you're looking for? It wasn't hard to find, I just 'googled' kids tv and it was the first site up!

Dai Bradley from Kes was in the Flaxton Boys and I know the prog with Peter Sallis too . Hang on

Hi Dot

Although that is familiar I'm sure it's not the one, as mine was definately not a comedy.

I googled it ages ago spud and came across that site. I did look through and nothing rang any bells, but going to have another look.

Cheers

There was a comic strip of The Flaxton Boys in "Look-In" comic in the 1970's.
