Reading another thread and it seem you can see what anyone bought. How can people know what you've bought ? It seems a bit intrusive, what if it's a sex-toy or porn, or something you'd not want anyone to know about? CAn you hide these things?
Some sellers make listings private (especially "personal" stuff) - in those cases the id of the bidders/buyer cannot be seen on the open listing, and after completion the item is not visible on the buyer's feedback record.
The person you mean told us exactly what it was she was selling on Ebay, it didn't take long for the AB sleuths to go searching for that particular item on Ebay and put 2 and 2 together.
That concerned me a little too but assumed it was visible becuas the person was a 'seller' as well as a buyer? Is that the case?
@B00 - it wasn't what that person was selling on ebay - someone posted a list of everything 'they' had bought recently, you know who I mean. It surprised me that the info was available.
I just looked at my Ebay feedback and one item is listed as private, so I went to the seller's page to see if I could figure out what it was.... it was 2 pairs of jeans that I bought for my son last week :-/
Why would a seller list jeans as private? lol
I thought maybe things had changed recently, but they haven't.
I have just looked at a random user's feedback and can see every item they have bought over the past few weeks, except for 2 items listed as 'private'. Not hard to work out what the private items were because I can see what the seller has been selling.
This buyer has no connection to me at all - not dealt with her in any way.
