not really jj..we are snowed in...
Burns night planned for next week, I am cooking of course!!

Off to a Japanese night tonight.
Friends coming to dinner tonight (weather permitting), doing a Kleftico sort of thing with a leg of lamb, so going for a greek theme, except the music, couldn't be listening to Nana Mouskouri or Demis Roussos all night!
My hairdresser moved to a new salon. I popped in to make an appointment and was invited to the opening next Friday. Well...I said....Hope you're having a Burn's theme. They new nothing about Burn's Night but by the time I left we had changed the nibbles to Scottish Fayre, planned decorating with tartan and the owner has a friend who plays the bagpipes and will greet customers. I still can't go because I'm at another Burn's do. :-(
*knew*
Got my haggis etc in....

Well, I've dug our kilts out. I'm looking forward to it. Definitely the kilt this year, as opposed to the LBD and tartan sash.
jj..men wear kilts, ladies tartan skirts...
Blimey ...is it haggis shooting season already ?? No wonder there are loads of the critters about making their very loud mating call.

Murray ...

I'm glad you told me that.

:0)

So they're not called kilts?

But, hang on ... school uniforms for girls quite often include kilts, don't they?
