Dyson dc07 hardly picks up at the bottom has great suction at the wand cleared all the tubes and filters out no rips in the little pipe brush turns fine

It's a while since I've messed with a Dyson, but if you turn it upside down, so you expose the brushes, etc, I'm sure there are some screws holding the bottom plate on. Take all the screws out and it'll give you further access to a few more pipes that lead down to the brushes. You'll prob find that there's a big ball of fluff/hair clooging one of the pipes up.

A common problem is the drive belt stretch's and you loose the rotation of the brush bar under load. The only answer is to replace the belt. It's an easy job to remove the plate.
Another possible problem is the rubber flap under the wand tube ... it often hangs down a little bit, either it could be partially open due to a bit of rubbish being jammed in it, or they also droop a bit with age. This will also cause a loss of suction.
The same thing happened to ours, so I removed it and turned it upside down.
