I've got long hair. It reaches about my mid back. It's naturally straight with no layers. I was wondering if anyone knew how to get it into a slick, perfect bun like what ballet dancers have?
Thanks in advance

I use a hair donut, you can buy them in Tesco, Claire's etc. You Tube shows some detailed ways of using it to make a neat or scruffy bun.
Slickness such as you describe reqires in addition to a donut, hair gel and a bun net.
I got a clip thing from claire's. You put your hair in a ponytail then thread it through a slot in the clip and roll it towards your head. When you get as far as you can the clip fastens to make a hair covered circle. Tuck in the ends and you have a perfect bun.

Sorry need to go to specsavers, I thought it said how to get a perfect bum.
My SIL had long blonde hair but it was thin and brittle. She used a round false bun with hair pins to hold it in place or a chignon a la Hepburn. Her hair always looked thicker and really smart.
