I had an extensive DVT in September and am now on Warfarin for life (6.5ml at the moment). What is the likelyhood of me getting another DVT?

What was the cause of your DVT....need to know before i answer.

No illness or long journey so had a chest xray, (I have bronchiectasis). Xray revealed a partially collapsed lung, other than that no cause that I know of.

OK then roughly speaking for every five people that have a DVT from the same situation as you, then one will have another one......generally.

don't leave it til the morning.....if you are suspicious now, get your out of hours gp to come out and assess you!

Doc doesn't think it's a DVT but gonig for blood test tomorrow. Thanks all xx
