Found this recipe below.
It uses 2 eggs.... why would you have eggs in buttercream? and would that mean you were eating raw egg? Is that OK?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.When raw egg is mixed with certain ingredients - in your instance sugar, it ceases to pose any risks of salmonella etc. I'm not a 100% why, but as someone who makes cakes as a hobby, it horrified me to think of how many frostings call for raw eggs.... if you google it, you'll find the sciences behind it
