I Love Peanut Butter

I loved peanut butter as a child and still love it but there's several over spreads
I loved as a child thatI hate now. They are:-chocolate spread, lemon curd and
sandwich spread and marmalade.

I have just eaten two slices of fresh home made bread smothered with crunchy PB.

Would a third slice make me greedy?

Oooh! Lemon curd - loved it when I was under 10, can't stand it now in any form, not on bread or in a tart or cake. Bleurgh

Sandwich spread is many things. That hard to define spicy white spread with red and green bits; fish or meat paste in little white glass pots; the 'modern' sandwich fillers of flavoured tuna, curried this and that ...

The salad spread I remember was made by Heinz. It was quite sharp. I can't remember what was in it but it was salady!

Me too.. And i have the perfect excuse to gorge on it befote bedtime.. I have low blood sigar which occasionally leads to bad dreams.. Peanut butter is the cure!! :D

To me, peanut butter is as bad as Marmite. I can't stand either.
I remember years ago one of our neighbours bought it for the first time and spread it on the bread like butter before adding something else then giving it to her children. She thought it was the same as ordinary butter.
