Tracking A Letter
5 Answers
I have a brand new Sandisk Sd card which I have to return to the Czech republic at my own expense before they will send a new one. I thought I would just have to post it with normal postage stamp for the EU but Sandisk now tell me it has to be trackable
Does anyone know how I can do this cheaply otherwise it will not be worth my sending it back (which is possibly what they are hoping) but out of principle I would like it replacing
.
It was a new SDHC micro card supplied with an adapter. The first time I used it the card would not come out of the adapter and I dont know whether I could just use it with another make of adaptor.

'International Signed For' will cost you £6.02. That provides tracking within the UK and a signature upon arrival. Tracking all the way costs a fortune (£35.71 + VAT).
A more sensible option might be to ring Sandisk UK on 0808 234 9816 (or 0203 3183 965) and get the problem sorted out wholly within the UK.

It was from a retailer but I cant remember where. I tend to buy things like this and keep them until I need to use them. I do know it's within the last year or two and have explained this to them, quoted the reference number on the back of the adaptor and they are happy to send a replacement.. If it was a UK depot I would just sent it with proof of postage.
Someone has suggested I just buy a new adaptor from Poundland and that may be my best bet rather than pursuing this.
I just thought someone may have a bright idea for sending it cheaply.
