Hello all,

A very happy New year to all our Onwards and Downwards crew. I hope you all had a lovely time over Christmas and let yourselves have a treat now and then. I expect we shall gain a few more members this months, well the more the merrier I say.

We welcome anyone serious about losing weight and we offer support and kind thoughts - not magic fixes, just sensible help.

Don't forget your weekly weigh on Wednesday and remember we don't judge!
Here is last months thread

Thank you og lol I was just curious :-)
Left my weigh-in until today as have been on Dryjanuary, pleased that I've lost 8lbs for the month. Must try to keep up now as have target to lose another 12 lbs. Noticeable financial benefit as well.
Wow, good for you.
Well done Penelope, you shame us all. What is your goal and how long are you giving yourself, or are you taking it as it comes?
Thank you OG and xsticher. Aim is to lose another 12 lbs by end of March. This months loss is a great motivator, as is the financial benefit ! Feel better in myself, especially in the mornings, guess that's because the body is free from alcohol.:-))
Well done Penelope that is a nice steady loss for the month. When you lose the other 12lbs will that be your target weight?
Hi all, well done to all the losers! I've been very preoccupied recently so haven't been on here much. I've lost a couple of pounds in a couple of weeks, so fairly happy with that. Thanks for all the sweet potato info, it's reminded me how much I LOVE them ,and I've had them for tea today, Yum Yum.
