...ouch!
When I go into the myriad 'corner shops' near me, I often check out their dry snacks corner to see if they have anything interesting.
It turns out that my local (big) ASDA has a pretty good selection of Asian munchies, my preferred choice is Chevda with Balti Mix a close second (I find Bombay Mix contains too many 'tooth-breakers').
I bought a bag of "Cofresh Vindaloo Mix" a couple of days ago and am still fighting my way through it - oh BOY is it a ring-stinger!
Anyone else here a fan of this Asian spicy alternative to kettle chips/tortillas?

Never heard of it AP, but I'll keep my eyes open. When it comes to food of any sort my theory is always the spicier the better ;-) I'm currently working my way through a bottle of Sweet Death Chilli Sauce which my daughter bought me andgoes on everything, and my only complaint is that she didn't get me the ghost chilli one she said she was getting.

Ah 'Naga Jolokia' - I grew some of them last year, verra verra hot!

You should try growing your own hot chilli peppers then making sauces - it's really easy and effective and fun, I've done it loads of times.
I would, but I live in a flat with 2 house cats who have demolished everything I've ever tried to grow - and even I'm not cruel enough to teach them THAT lesson ;-)
I guess the clue was in the name.

I don't go in for these sort of things. The promise of spice entices but you inevitably find they add some revolting tasing ingredients, such as peanuts or whatever.
"tasting" >:-(
