Lemon Curd

I was just going to knock up some lemon curd, but all the recipes I have call for golden caster sugar or unrefined caster sugar. Given that I cba to go to the supermarket, will bog standard caster sugar do? Failing that I have demerara.

Oh dear, BM. How long have you had him? Has he mastered "No", "Sit" and "Stay" yet ? (If so, he's ready for "Fetch", which is useful). But, regardless of that, he must learn that he's not to go in the kitchen. It's dreadfully unhygienic and,if you allow him in, his natural curiosity will have him sticking his nose in everything, picking up things to investigate them, 'stealing' food from work surfaces, and being generally destructive, as well as always being in the way.

Never give him food away from his meal times. Give command "Sit", make him wait, and serve him the food , being sure that fresh drink is available at all times.
