Film Title

I hope someone can help me, I'm looking for the name of a film that was on T.V about two months ago. It started with a boat in a bad storm, when the storm abated they happened upon a desserted Russian navy ship. The crew of the boat boarded the ship with the intent of claiming her as salvage. It was at that point that the film became a bit like 'Alien' at sea, as one by one the crew were killed by an unknown life source that turned the bodies into half human robots. The climax of the film was the blowing up of the ship as it was the only way to kill the life source. I had been out for a drink that night, and I'm afraid the numbing effect of alcohol and my aged brain affected my memory, I can remember the plot but not the title or any of the actors.
