oh dear, my dear one got ahead of himself last week, it was so mild and sunny that he turned my over wintering pot plants out of the greenhouse, and started to prepare for planting tomatoes etc, got anoyed when I put them all back in again last night, today, it's snowing, he hates being proved wrong.
I'm happy to wait, but the old man thinks he knows best, has he learned a lesson? I doubt it, he's like a blue bottle, if the sun comes out so does he, and starts buzzing around till the frosts knock him out again.
Mr P is banned from the pollytunnel, greenhouse and garden plants. He really has no clue what he's doing and I spend more time trying to save plants that he's nearly killed than anything else.
I have to admit Mr P cleared the front garden last week (with a digger) and I'm very pleased with it. Going to fill it in with wee stones and just have pots and suchlike out there.
We don't have a shed. But he does disappear into the garage "to get something" and apart from the odd expletive, I don't hear anything for hours.
He "helped" me clear the front garden earlier this week. "Help" being very loose in its interpretation. He's fine if he does what he is told, but if he goes off on a frolic of his own, death and destruction normally result.
