Hi...can anyone PLEASE give me any ideas how to stop my mascara going 'globby' or dry after only using it for a matter of weeks??????????? When I buy it its "ohhh, lovely long lashes...", then after a couple of weeks its "Owwww, yak....hello stuck together lashes".....Its not a particularly cheap mascara, so surely it shouldn't go nasty so quickly? Help help help...fed-up of buying new mascara's all the time....Thanx in advance.

put it in a cup of hot water for a few minutes that should restore it

Not my area of expertise, for obvious reasons (I'm a bloke!), but saw the question and it struck me right away, maybe a couple of drops of Tippex thinner (or Liquid Paper thinner) might do the trick. If it gets 'globby', sounds exactly like Tippex used to get when I used to use it.

If you try it and it works, let me know, I'm curious. If it just makes it a gooey mess, err... it wasn't me, I never said a word!

Snook - Well done for trying to answer a woman's question but as mascara goes on the eye area probably not a good idea to use tippex thinner, could cause nasty rashes or burning!

Actually Snook.......you may have a point...well kinda. I might try putting something like toner in it????????

Thanx.

Hey Spcl22, have you tried a different make? My Maxfactor one last ages with no problems.

Also, do you keep it in a particularly cold or warm place, e.g. near a radiator or something?

Dont pump the wand up and down before use as this makes it glob. Set it between the bars of the radiator for a couple of minutes before use, this should stop it clogging
