Canon Eos 7D

Iam thinking of buying a Canon 7d, the cheapest price I can find is from a company called Camera Paradise.Anybody know anything about them

Not personally but a Google found a few review sites eg

Be advised that as they are based in Hong Kong you may be hit with a large import bill if customs check it.

Well they're in Hong Kong so it will be subject to import duty and VAT, in addition I think that Canon warranties on bodies are country specific so wouldn't be valid in the UK, the website indicates that they will offset VAT but don't mention duty. If you do want to buy from the Far East I have used Digital Rev before and they do cover all taxes, no connection with them and they are highly thought of over on Talk Photography http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=108
