Any Experience Of Csl Or Dfs
I am lookin to purchase a new 3 seater sofa and single chair with a fairly modern look, there are some nice ones on both the above mentioned websites and I wonder if anyone has had any experiences with either company.

The cushions are not foam and they've been out of shape from day one. You have to plum them every time you sit down. The quality of stiching was also very poor.
I've bought myself new ones from Harvey's recentl and I'm really pleased with them all round. We're even delivered 4 weeks early.

We bought an Ontario from CSL approx 7 years ago - no problems whatsoever. The suite is still like new, although we do have throws on, which prob helps.
The cushions, framework and reclining mechanisms are all still like new.
I've just had a quick look and they still sell them:

EB has just reminded me of something else. When my parents complained to DFS, they were told that they'd "obviously not been plumping them up every day like you're supposed to"... which they had been.
Sofas just aren't made to last.
My sister's got a lovely one from Ikea. It's really firm and sturdy, even after a good few years and a boisterous child!

I've been to John Lewis today - a top quality double fitted sheet was...£135!!
Anyway I expect DFS,CSL, Furniture Village etc are all much of a muchness with horror and good stories for all. I think these days home redecoration is much more in fashion so sofas aren't built to last because people change so regularly. We've had 3 suites from DFS in 10 years - gave each one away as we changed, nothing wrong with them except our own boredom.
