Double Sided Tape

Help! How do I separate the tape from its protectve covering?

Would it be possible for you to remove one side of the covering, then apply the tape where it's needed, then remove the other side of the covering?

try a small sharp blade held against the edge ... that's what works for me

I usually get a very sharp and just cut halfway through the tape, then fold it on the cut and it will separate.

Daisy...you are removing the tape from its covering after pressing it onto the...whatever you are sticking it to?

Daisy what are you doing that needs double sided tape ?.

Daisy, press the sticky side onto what you are trying to stick then give it a wee rub along with the back of some scissors, then you should be able to lift the backing strip off.

if its in strips then one side of the backing is usually longer than the other - just enough to peel off.
