The Pheasant & The Bull
4 Answers
A pheasant was stood in a field talking to a bull.
You know I'd really like to fly to the top of that tall tree and look down from there but I just don't have the energy.
The bull turns to the pheasant and says, "why don't you have a peck at some of my dung, it's packed full of nutrients".
Okay if you say so, says the pheasant, so he gives it a peck and.......hey I feel stronger already and with not too much effort, he manages to reach the first branch of the tree!
The second day, he eats some more of the dung and amazingly gets up to the second branch and so on and so on.
After a couple of weeks, he says to the bull watch this, I'm gonna go for it!
He has a good feed on the dung then fly's straight to the very top of the tree and enjoys an eagle eye view of the world below.
Just at this point, the farmer spots the pheasant, then go's to get his shot gun and blasts the pheasant out of the tree.
The moral of this story..........You can bullsh!t your way to the top but it wont make you stay there.
